I was watching the kids waiting for the bus this morning. Tyler & Dylan were standing still, half asleep, while Ryleigh danced around them. Backpack and all, she re-created the “cat dance” she has practiced all year! The sun shining, and Ryleigh, still, in her mind, on stage practicing her routine! It made my smile, and made me realize her love for dance and her love for the incredible extended “family” you have created for her.

Hi Sharon. First of all let me congratulate you.....the choreography,costumes, organization...all the multitude of details that you handled so flawlessly! It truly is an amazing energy that you are able to share with our little dancers and I am grateful for your leadership and enthusiasm. We are blessed to have you sharing this professional level of dance in our community. The show was another great success and a wonderful way to end the year. I do feel however that I need to address the lenght of the show. I remember two years ago,when Jilly last danced, how I was squirming in my seat and starting to think that all the dances looked the same, which is NOT true!! However....we are human and those seats are hard. Again this year, I heard all the same comments, "It is a great show, BUT way too long." There should be no BUTS when both you and our children have worked so hard. We should be on our feet showing you how much you are appreciated and how much we have enjoyed the show. I feel strongly that the length of the show is now interfering with the intention behind it....to share and bring joy to all. The audience is a factor in that equation and perhaps in your desire to showcase all the work accomplished, the realities of our experience have been secondary. Though this email has been hard to write, I truly hope that you are able to receive the intended message of the worth and value that I place upon your teaching. It is because I care enough to see you continue with the support of the parents, that I am speaking up. Many were complaining, as they were rising from their seats. Many were complaining, as they were arriving, saying that they had heard it was even longer than last year. No one should be complaining, when you have put together such an amazing showcase for OUR children!! Let me say again, that it is not the show that anyone is complaining about, but rather the lenght of time that we are expected to sit and receive. At a certain point, our receivers are FULL. Let me end by telling you how happy Jillian was, exhausted and very happy. For all the dancers, the show seems to be the icing on the cake and you my dear.....know how to make a great cake! My heartfelt desire is that you can use this constructive criticism to make it even better. THANK YOU for all your creativity and inspiring energy. Thank you Mom for those beautiful costumes....simple and yet so effective! THANK YOU...,Miss Sharon! Wow, what a great show. I can't imagine how you pulled that all together. What I wondered often was how you kept 100 different dance pieces all separate in your mind from another. Extraordinary.
Sophia really enjoyed every part of it, a great experience all around. As we were eating dinner, out of the blue she became sad and when I asked what was wrong she said "I miss Ms Sharon", knowing that she probably won't see you until the fall. Thank you for making all the kids feel so special. Have a great and relaxing summer (I bet you don't relax much-off to climb a mountain or something?).

The show was amazing to watch as usual but even more amazing to see all the work
involved behind the scene. It was extremely well organized. I'm very impressed.

I can't believe you choreographed 100 dances!! And what a fantastic dancer you are!
I stayed to watch both preformances, and was truly impressed.
I do have a few questions for you:
I am interested in a DVD of the show to send to my mom in Vancouver (who LOVES dance, and would be so proud of Mason!). Will there be one available? Out of curiousity, which show is on DVD? (I found the second show better - - the audiance was alive!)
After the second show, Mason cried in that he didn't have a flower to give you (my mistake!) Is there a time that you'll be in your studio, that Mason could drop by with a flower for you?

Hi Sharon,
Well - you pulled it off, again! Wow - it was very impressive - from both sides of the curtain!
The show was long and I wasn't sure about the format - so many quick changes and short dances, but with the costumes and the dancers' expertise - it was very entertaining and the hours flew by!
Thanks again to you for a wonderful year of dance - you know Bri loves it. We will keep in touch,

Congratulations on the show, it was well organised and very professional.
The dances, students and costumes were great. Both I and Nathan enjoyed
being part of the show, Nathan was beaming when he arrived on stage I think
he could be a natural on stage he has so much confidence. The level 3 were
so well behaved in between their dancing and very sweet.
I am hoping to bring Nathan next term he is also interested in tap. I am
also thinking of coming along to the Ladies group if you have availabliity.
Do you have a tap adult class? I did enloy tap when I was a child.
Once again the show was great, you must have worked very hard.

Congradulations on a fabulous show! Everything was amazing because everything felt amazing! I really cannot believe that I won't be dancing next year, it doesn't really make sense to me, I don't think it ever will! But like you said I have to somehow make it back for the tenth year anniversary! Whatever it takes! I promise! And I really do want to thankyou for providing me with an environment where I have felt free to dance and express myself. That is one thing I won't be able to find anywhere else, the comfort I feel when I walk into that studio, when I'd rather be there more than anywhere else, where I can get away from work, school, relationships, whatever it may be, I know that I can clear my head and be "in the zone" so to speak, when I come to dance. So thankyou so much for allowing me to do that for so many years!
Anyways, I will see you at some point this week before I leave. And if we can't watch the video before I go, then I'll be back by May 20th to see it! And if it's possible, instead of two videos, can I have two DVD's? Thanx! And thank YOU again! I love you so much! I'll talk to you soon! BYE!

We so much enjoyed the performances today. The choreography was professional, the dancers were very well prepared and clearly enjoyed being on stage, the range of music selected, the imaginative dance sequences, the charming costumes - and the delightful personal touches - all contributed to a perfect afternoon for us!
We loved the contrasts in age and proficiency - and enjoyed the chance to see Sharon herself on stage! With such a varied programme and wide range of talent, we think you are an amazing teacher, choreographer and organizer, Sharon! And we loved the backdrop, Gary!
Our only regret is not having come to your previous presentations! Please put us on your mailing list, but we will be happy to pay for our tickets next time! Thank you very much for inviting us today.
Hope the evening show was also a huge success. We still have so many lovely images in our minds. It was a wonderful day.
